N.C. Outdoor Advertising Association launches “Billboards Work for North Carolina” campaign
Emphasizes billboard industry’s positive economic and community impact

Today, the N.C. Outdoor Advertising Association launched a “Billboards Work for North Carolina” campaign to highlight the industry’s positive economic and community benefits in North Carolina.
“In addition to being an effective tool for businesses to get the word out, North Carolina’s billboard industry creates jobs, strengthens our tourism industry, supports public safety and promotes non-profits that serve our communities,” said T.J. Bugbee, executive director of NCOAA. “Unfortunately, our industry’s positive contributions are often dismissed by a vocal minority seeking to vilify billboards. This campaign will focus on the many ways the billboard industry works to make North Carolina a better place.”
The campaign will utilize billboards and other communication channels to inform citizens about the billboard industry’s positive economic and community impacts in North Carolina. To learn more, visit https://BillboardsWorkforNC.com.
